Boarding (per month)

Stalls Exterior (12 x 12)            $665.00
Exterior Run. Includes standard turnout (dry lot or pasture) - seven times per week, weather permitting and subject to owner's request, at least one customer locker and overhead fans with variable speed control.

Stalls Exterior (12 x 20)            $740.00
Exterior Run. Includes standard turnout (dry lot or pasture) - seven times per week, weather permitting and subject to owner's request, at least one customer locker and overhead fans with variable speed control.

Stalls - Interior (12 x 12)           $590.00
Includes standard turnout (dry lot or pasture) - seven times per week, weather permitting and subject to owner's request, at least one customer locker and overhead fans with variable speed control.

Stalls - Interior (12 x 16)           $615.00
Includes standard turnout (dry lot or pasture) - seven times per week, weather permitting and subject to owner's request, at least one customer locker and overhead fans with variable speed control.

Paddock                                     $395.00
Includes (2) three-sided lean tos with private runs for each horse, hay, and grain supplied daily. Access to adjacent 1/2 acre pasture for periodic grazing at the discretion of management.

Pasture                                      $295.00
Hay supplied during winter season. Grain provided subject to condition of horses (overweight condition). Includes 12 x 12 tack room for saddles and private locker for each pasture boarder in barn.

Training (per month)

Training is available to our stall and paddock boarders and those who are willing to trailer their horses to the Painted M for individual training sessions. Our high occupancy levels means that we rarely have vacant stalls for training purposes on a moments notice.

Full Training

With Bill Walton                          $500.00
With Monica Buckowitz             $400.00
Includes working horse up to 5 days per week, approximate duration of each workout 1 hour. To complete full training horse receives 20 workouts, which could cause training to be more than a month. Full training includes 1 free lesson while horse is in training.

Half Training

With Bill Walton                          $300.00
With Monica Buckowitz             $250.00
Includes working horse up to 5 days every two weeks, with an approximate duration of each workout being 1 hour. To complete half training horse receives 10 workouts, which could cause training to be more than one month. Half training includes 1/2 off first lesson while horse is in training.

Roping Training (Full)

Includes working with live cattle and mechanical aids. Includes working horse up to 5 days per week, approximate duration of each workout 1 hour. To complete full training horse receives 20 workouts, which could cause training to be more than a month. Full training includes 1 free lesson while horse is in training.

Riding Lessons

At Painted M Ranch, we believe in tailoring our lesson program to meet the needs of each individual student. Our goal is to first provide you with consistent and understandable foundation work that will allow you to have a safe, resistance-free relationship with your horse- or one of ours. We strive to set our students up for long-term success, whether you want to learn how to ride western, english, competitively, or just for fun!

Private Riding Lessons

With Monica Buckowitz             $45.00
Length of lessons, which include grooming and tacking assistance, if necessary, range from 30 minutes to 1 hour to be determined at the sole discretion of the instructor.

Private Lesson Package

With Bill Walton                          $245.00
With Monica Buckowitz             $200.00
PrePay for five lessons and receive a $30 discount with Bill and a $25 discount with Monica. Must take all lessons within 5 weeks of the first lesson.

Semi-Private Riding Lessons

With Bill Walton                          $45.00

A semi private lesson consists of two students. Riders must be skilled enough to ride without being individually instructed for the entirety of the lesson. Determination of sufficient skill is the sole determination of the instructor. Length of lesson varies from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to be determined at the sole discretion of the instructor.

PrePay for five riding lessons and receive a $25 discount with Bill and a $20 discount with Monica. Must take all lessons within 5 weeks of the first lesson.

Horseshoe Club                              $30.00

All Horseshoe Club attendees will receive a $10 COUPON that may be used at any future date for any service we offer..

Each Horseshoe Club meeting will last 1 to 1 1/2 hours and will include refreshments. Members will learn about equine related topics. Additional topics will include, but are not limited to; riding attire for showing purposes, how weather changes affect horses, clipping and mane pulling/braiding, and exercising a horse.
